Anne Klein, the longtime sports reporter for NBC Sports, is joining NBC’s Sportscenter as a co-anchor.
Klein is known for her frequent sports commentary and reports on the women’s and children’s sports, and she’ll also be contributing to the studio for its new Olympics coverage.
She joined NBC from CBS.
Klein joined NBC in 2011 and spent the next four years as a sports anchor and anchor producer on the SportsCenter program.
In that time, Klein was a regular contributor to the network’s coverage of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament and the men’s soccer tournament, and the network also reported on the 2012 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
She also reported live on the 2013 FIFA World Cup.
In the new role, Klein will cover a range of topics for NBCSports.com, including sports in general and the Olympics in particular.
NBCSports and NBC Sports Group will jointly produce the Sportscenter and NBC Olympics programming.
The SportsCenter and NBCOlympics series will be produced and produced in partnership with NBC Sports and NBC.NBC Sports will also continue to produce and air SportsCenter.
